America and Britain
TODAY
in Bible Prophecy
"And now, indeed, I am going to my people. Come, I will advise you what this people will do to your people in the latter days."
(Numbers 24:14)

Preface

Modern evangelists and theologians, do not know where the bible places America and Britain today in prophecy and what the bible says about their role in modern history. World Wars I and II are assumed not to be mentioned in scripture. Would God leave these two horrendous world wars out of bible prophecy? Twentieth century America and Britain are assumed to be left out of the biblical account. Wrong! We just do not understood the key to where our western world is talked about in scripture. Current events in Europe and America are very much in the bible. What is missing is the key to the identity of these nations in prophecy.

The answer is found in an overlooked term in Bible prophecy: the "ships of Chittim" , which in Balaam's prophecy refers to a FUTURE great naval power. A corrupt high priest and prophet, Balaam , gave us prophesies for the end time which clear up the mystery as to where America and the British Commonwealth are mentioned in bible prophecy, and what events are fortold to take place.

The Knowledge of being Israel
Jesus said: "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews." (John 4:22 NKJV)

What modern Christians do not understand, is that Christianity was a sect of the Jews at the time of Christ and the Apostles. They preached the gospel from the Old Testament. There was no New Testament. The gospel was sent out to the ten tribes of Israel, whose location was well known to Jews in the first century. Knowing where the tribes went, is paramount to understanding the gospel message and end-time bible prophecy. How they lost their identity is another story.

Take some time to challenge the whereabouts of the so-called lost tribes of Israel in our modern era. Note, the Israelis are the House of Judah, comprised of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi. The Israelis are NOT the House of Israel of bible prophecy!

Why should this knoledge of our national identity be important? A warning is due to our peoples of things to come. The prophet Amos clarifies this point ... "Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7 NKJV

"And the pride of Israel testifies to his face, but they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek Him for all this. Ephraim [Britain] also is like a silly dove, without sense; they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria [Germany]. Wherever they go, I will spread My net on them; I will bring them down like birds of the air; I will chastise them according to what their congregation has heard . (Hosea 7:10-12 NKJV)

Balaam's Prophecies
(Num 23:22-24 NKJV) God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox. {23} "For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel, 'Oh, what God has done!' {24} Look, a people rises like a lioness, And lifts itself up like a lion; It shall not lie down until it devours the prey, And drinks the blood of the slain."

(Num 24:23-24 NKJV) Then he took up his oracle and said: "Alas! Who shall live when God does this? {24} But ships shall come from the coasts of Cyprus [Chittim or the west], And they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Eber, And so shall Amalek [be afflicted], until he perishes."

Middle East Wars
Britain and America's involvement.

Exodus17:14-15 'Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven." And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; for he said, "Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation ."'

(Num 24:20 NKJV) Then he looked on Amalek, and he took up his oracle and said: "Amalek was first among the nations, But shall be last until he perishes."

Will Russia Attack America ?
The common understanding among televangelists today is that Russia [Gog and Magog] will attack America. The bible speaks of Assyria [modern Germany] as the enemy of the end-time Israelites, not Gog and Magog. What is the correct understanding of bible prophecy?

The answer is, modern Germany, NOT Russia, is the nation to be concerned with, as they gain the lead over a United Europe. Germany has an old rivalry with the peoples of America and Britain.

Is There A GREAT Falling Away ?
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." (2 Th 2:3-4 NKJV)

THE POPULAR VIEW

Most people who read Paul's second letter to the Church at Thessalonica, fear many true believers will fall away from the truth, in great numbers, in the end time. It is commonly misunderstood that a "man of sin" will appear on the world scene, and seduce many of God's people away from true worship. This is not true. To understand this scripture you have to realize this scripture is NOT written ABOUT the church, but TO the church, to remind them of the true understanding of Daniel's prophecy.

This prophecy is NOT about a "falling away". It is about a great REBELLION or "apostasy" involving military invasion and war. This scripture is a geo-political statement. There are, however, religious implications. The questions are: Who is the "rebellion" against? Which nations are involved? What is the outcome?

The answers involve a basic knowledge of history and Bible prophecy. You will be surprised at some of the answers.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

The ancient battle between Shem and his small army, and Nimrod and his rebel forces, was a fore runner of the end-time epoch between the people of God [modern Israelites - America and Britain] and those lead by an evil international conspiracy. Satan the Devil will empower that world-conquering European mega power. It will be a wicked economic and military power that swollows up continents, and leads the world in rebellion against all righteousness. In the manner of Nimrod, a great leader will call himself equal with God -- blasphemy!

We have a great national lesson to learn. It is summarized in the scripture ... "So he answered and said to me: 'This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts.'" (Zec 4:6 NKJV) This is to be a great spiritual, as well as a military battle. Only our God will be able to save the day, as prophesied in the pages of your bible, through the second coming of Jesus Christ, and His world intervention.

THE SCRIPTURE IN CONTEXT

"Let no man deceive you by any means; for (that Day will not come) unless the falling away comes first..." II Thessalonians 2:3

Isn't it amazing when we focus only on a small part of the passage, the result can be off track. Don't be amazed! It happens often, when reading the Bible. The truth is, the passage is not referring to a falling away, but a warning of a Gentile apostasy, both political and religious in nature, to take hold of the world scene.

Look again as the same scripture in context: "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him , we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come."

Note: There were two problems here. One, false apostles were attempting to communicate with and infiltrate the Church. Two, these impostors were saying Christ, and the millennium had come to the earth already ("in our hearts"?).

Continuing: "Let no one deceive you by any means; for (that day will not come) unless the falling away comes first, AND the MAN OF SIN is REVEALED, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Look at the context. This verse (written TO the Church, NOT about it) refers to the same events which are mentioned in the book of Daniel. Lets look: "...he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods..." (Daniel 11:36). Paul writes about the same "man of sin" who is written of in the book of Daniel, chapters 7 and 11. (Go to your Bible and read these chapters yourself). Paul is NOT referring to the church but to the events surrounding the man of sin, and the political and religious forces which WILL affect the world at the END TIME.

Have we lost the pride in our power? America is the only super power on earth. The British Commonwealth is America's ally. Our we afraid of world opinion so much, that we are not willing to help those nations that cannot help themselves?

America strikes back : the anniversary of the courageous bombing of Hiroshima (and three days later, Nagasaki), which ended the war with Japan. God gave America the power to destroy these cities, as He similarly destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

America need not be ashamed of putting an end to all the evil which Japan unleashed on the Asian continent.

The Japanese and the Germans were both working on the Atomic bomb, at that time. If either of these nations had gained the technology first, we would be living in a different world.

It is God's intent that America and Britain, be the end time military power that takes on globalism and the move toward an evil one-world government. (But will we?) We are the descendants of Shem and modern counterpart of the biblical army of the patriarch Shem, who fought Nimrod and put an end to the Tower of Babel. That ancient attempt at a one world government (globalism) that would swollow up the ancient world, took place in the same geographic location as Iraq today.

History is repeating itself. But, some of the players have migrated -- to Europe. The battle shall become a spiritual one - in the biblical sense. So, the saga will continue ...

Our National Character
Keep silence before Me, O coastlands, And let the people renew their strength! (Isaiah 41:1)

This prophecy for the "lost" tribes of Israel, was meant for the British Isles, where economic and military strength was built up over the centuries. God wanted to see what His people could do on their own, when we are not aware of our link to our past and ancient Israel. His desire was to test our national character -- to see what we can do before He pours out His Spirit on us as a nation. Here is the result:
America -- the Champion of Freedom and Lex Rex
America, the only global super-power, has placed freedom and liberty from any kind of slavery, as a national goal for all mankind. American foreign policy is to democratize the world. This is a foretaste of what will take place at the return of Jesus Christ and His Millennial rule. America, at this point in history, polices the world, not the United Nations. Modern day Israelites are gaining experience in international rule and in educating and influencing national governments This is being accomplished at the level of the spirit in man. We are still in spiritual slavery.
What will eventually come upon the world scene is pictured in this scripture: (Isa 61:1 NKJV) "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;"
The American founding fathers took the words of Samuel Rutherford and his concept of Lex Rex and built it into the constitution of the United States of America. In America, the "law is king", the king is not the law.
This characteristic of American society is a foretaste of the government to come in the Millennium. (Deu 4:8 NKJV) "And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?"
Britain -- gives the world a common language and common law
The character of the ancient Ephraimites is that they had a peculiar accent and refused to change their speech, even at the peril of their lives. The English (Ephraimites) have given the world the Queen's English to enable international communication and to universally propagate the Gospel to all nations.
The idea of Common Law is British -- common to all men. The British Empire spread the influence of one law for all nations. The Magna Carta and the Cartarum Confirmatio are a product of the English stubbornness to force the king to allow the protection of the law to be common to all men. The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights , of December 10, 1948, is a corrupted copy of British Common Law. The "inherent dignity" of man is the source of its authority. What it leaves out is a place for the omnipotence of God in that declaration. It is a humanist document, in all respects. British law is God centered. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is still the Defender of the Faith -- the Christian faith that is!
In God We Trust ?
America sets the pace for modern Israel and typifies the character of the Ten Lost Tribes with the phrase coined: "in God we trust". America is known for its industriousness, and characteristically trusting in God. (During the two World Wars, the British Commonwealth also exuded a faithful trust in God.) America does things in a big way and Americans used to trust God in a big way. Now, humanism has entered the many of the facets of our society. Humanism is taking over. Humanism pervades the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights (1948) not trust in God. Humanism is the basis for globalism and one world government, supported by intellectuals and the exceedingly wealthy. Humanism is destroying the values and religion of America and the British Commonwealth, because it leaves God, His wisdom, and the Ten Commandments out of the picture.

God will contend with then nations, in the Day of the Lord. What He will do through humbled Israelites, after that cataclysmic tribulation and His day of wrath against an evil world, has not been taught to church congregations ...

"And it shall be, if they will learn carefully the ways of My people, to swear by My name, 'As the LORD lives,' as they taught My people to swear by Baal, then they shall be established in the midst of My people. But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation." (Jeremiah 12:16-17)

"For the nation and kingdom which will not SERVE YOU shall perish, And those nations shall be utterly ruined." (Isaiah 60:12)
